Terms and
Conditions
Last updated: 28 August 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Breathe website and the purchase or use of our gym, fitness, wellness, coaching, class and related services.
By registering, making a booking, purchasing a package or membership, or using our facilities and services, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

2. Memberships and services
Our services may include gym access, group classes, personal training, wellness sessions, programmes, workshops and other related services advertised on our website.
Memberships and packages are personal to the registered member and may not be transferred, shared or resold without our written approval.
Members must provide accurate and complete information when registering and must notify us if their contact or payment information changes.
3. Payments
All prices are displayed in South African rand and include VAT where applicable.
Membership and package fees must be paid on or before the stated due date. Where recurring payments or debit orders are authorised, the member remains responsible for ensuring that sufficient funds are available.
If a payment is unsuccessful, we may temporarily suspend access until the outstanding amount has been paid. Any lawful bank or administration charges arising from a failed payment may be added to the account after the member has been notified.
Prices may change from time to time. Any change to a recurring membership price will be communicated before the member’s next renewal and will be applied only as permitted by applicable law.
4. Membership cancellation
Breathe memberships are offered month-to-month unless a different arrangement is clearly stated and accepted by the member. There is no long-term commitment or early-cancellation penalty on a month-to-month membership.
A member may cancel at any time by emailing info@breathe.org.za before the next scheduled renewal date. The request must include the member’s full name, email address and membership information. We will confirm the cancellation by email.
Cancellation stops future renewals. The member may continue using the membership until the end of the period already paid for, subject to these terms. Membership fees already paid are not refundable merely because the member stops using the services, except where required by law or where Breathe is unable to provide the paid service.
If Breathe introduces a fixed-term membership in future, the cancellation rights and any reasonable cancellation charge permitted under the Consumer Protection Act will be explained before purchase.
We may terminate or suspend a membership for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, non-payment, unlawful conduct, harassment, violence, damage to property or behaviour that creates a danger to others. Where reasonably possible, the member will first receive written notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach.
5. Class and appointment cancellations
Bookings for gym slots, classes and wellness appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 12 hours before the scheduled starting time.
When sufficient notice is given, a paid booking may be moved to another available time or converted to account credit. A membership-included booking will be returned to the member’s available bookings without charge.
A cancellation made less than 12 hours before the starting time, or a missed booking, will be forfeited and may be deducted from the member’s package. No additional cancellation penalty will be charged.
No cancellation charge will apply where prohibited by law, including where the cancellation results from the death or hospitalisation of the person for whom the booking was made. We may also make a reasonable exception for another genuine emergency.
If Breathe cancels a paid booking or cannot provide the service, the client may choose a replacement booking, account credit or a refund for the affected booking.
